propane run

Our long term vision for our home is to have a woodstove and a solar hot water heater. But, right now we use propane for our hot water (sink and shower), our heater, and our stove.Every few weeks we have to load our big propane tanks onto the truck to get them filled in town. Yesterday was a beautiful day for a drive, and our little threesome decided to drive into town for a fill-up. (Okay, maybe it wasn't quite so on a whim, as we had also run out of propane... So, no heat = brrrr... that was a tiny motivation too.) Regardless, it was beautiful out, and you know what else was beautiful? The three donuts we ate on the way home.

Was it three donuts each? Because three donuts each is the most beautiful. But they can't be big because that would make even a dont professional such as myself somewhat sickly. They have to be regular sized cake donuts, preferably pumpkin or blueberry or some such flavor, and there has to be a delicious cold glass of milk at the end.

Good luck with everything - surviving that 3" of snow :)

hmmmmm.
nope. just one each. Alex and I got glazed crumpled looking ones, and Lili got a twisted sugar one. but she only about 1/3 (her first donut!) and so we split the rest. and no glass of cold milk either...
and it wasn't from anywhere fancy either, just the Ingles donut case. They still rocked though.

1 1/3 donuts is pretty good.

Hooray for Lili embarking on the lifelong embrace of occasional and scrumptious donut consumption!
